March 7 & 8, 2009	Our chapter received the following awards at the Regional Conference in Everett,WA:     Dr. Jody Peterson won the Region's  Most Distinguished Chapter Advisor Award Alexis Austin won 2nd place for the Distinguished Chapter Member Award Lori Taylor won 1st, 2nd, & 3rd places for the Liiterary Achievement Award. We acheived 5 Start Status, after a year of having 3 Star Status. Attending- Olivia Molinari-Treasurer, Lori Taylor-President, Candice Madore- Secretary, Alexis Austin-Member/Alumna.
April 10, 2009	Borst Park Clean up around railroad tracks, Coordinated by Candice Madore.  Attending- Lori Taylor, Sarah Wilson
April 15-18, 2009 International Convention Grapevine, TX	Jody received an International Award!  Gaylord Texan   Dr. Jody Peterson from Iota Omega Chapter, Centralia College received the Most Distinguished Advisor Award!!! Check out the article our Chapter President wrote about Jody & her award!! Our region also won the following awards: Tamika Jackson from Alpha Chi Zeta Chapter, Seattle Central Community College received the Most Distinguished Chapter Member Award. Deena Bisig - Alpha Sigma Phi Chapter, Clark College received the Paragon Award. Alpha Sigma Phi Chapter, Clark College received the Service Hallmark Award.  Attending- Ryan Smith- Communications, Lori Taylor- President, Sarah Wilson- Vice President, Olivia Molinari- Treasurer.
April 30th	Iran Presentation, Clark College Attended with us. We helped distribute refreshments, fliers, and redirecting traffic from Washignton Hall to NSC121 as well as attend the educational seminar Attending- Ryan Smith, Olivia Molinari, Candice Madore, Lori Taylor, Austin Majors, John Heller.
May 2nd	Cedar Street Park Tree Planting - Lori Taylor & Candice Madore helped plant about 17 trees.  China Creek Clean-up
May 14th & 15th	Rotoract Club Auction Attending- Rachel Buckle & John Heller
May 22nd!       Spring 2009 Induction Ceremony	Spring Inductions!!!!! Voting of 2009-2010 Officers! Please meet us in the Hanson Board Rooms at 1 pm!! Next to the gym.  Officers Elected: Jose Camelo- President Austin Majors- Vice President Rachel Buckle- Treasurer John Heller- Communications Officer Teacher of the Year Award will be given to Bob Erickson.
May 26th	Ascc Recognitions Night! Lori Taylor, Ryan Smith, and Olivia Molinari received Leadership Awards from Dr. Jody Peterson.  Attending- John Heller, Rachel Buckle, Lori Taylor, Olivia Molinari, Jair Ruiz, Ryan Smith, Kari Andersen, and atleast 5 other Phi Theta Kappa members.
May 30th        Service Project with Clark College! Alpha Sigma Phi!!!	It would be with the Lower Columbia Fish Enhancement Group and here is what we would be doing.   -Invasive species control (fancy term for weed pulling) -Pick up trash along the ponds -Nutrient Enhancement Attending: Olivia Molinari-Outgoing Financial Officer and  Austin Majors-incomming Vice President
June 5th Meeting!!! Fundraising!!! Last Meeting of the year!!!	Fundraising event! We have a table! Please help man it 11am - 5pm! Ice Cream Social!!! Bring your favorite ice cream toppings and help us swear in our new officers! Time is 1:15 pm! Location: Atrium
