Dr. Jody Peterson - Advisor & Regional Coordinator I earned my Bachelor's degrees in history and political science in addition to a Master's degree in European History from the University of North Texas (a really long time ago!). I then attended Washington State University to earn a Ph.D. in American History. After teaching for several 2- and 4- year schools, I landed at Centralia College in 1998. I become involved in Phi Theta Kappa in 2001 and became the lead advisor in 2004. My main interests beyong history and government include reading and sleeping. And if I wasn't a teacher, I would most likely be working as a chef in a restaurant decorated with flamingos!
I am excited to be serving the Greater Northwest Region as the Regional Coordinator and as the Iota Omega Chapter's Advisor. Although it may seem far away, we only have 2 years until our region yet again hosts the International Convention - Seattle, here we come in 2011! |
